ABOUT US

2HOT2LEARN

Rising temperatures due to climate change mean that classroom and playgrounds across Australia are facing excessive heat.

Yet surprisingly, air temperatures remain poorly studied.

In partnership with scientists from Western Sydney University we studied the problem and gathered the evidence.

Our classrooms were even hotter than we thought.

Now we want to know how many other schools around Australia suffer from the same problem. We must work together to advocate for sustainable solutions to dangerous classroom heat.

Led by students,
Guided by science.

Read about how 2Hot2Learn is working alongside others in advocating for issues around heat.

BIG WEATHER (AND HOW TO SURVIVE IT)

Our student team appeared in the three part ABC documentary Big Weather (and how to survive it).

Filmed in early 2020, the 2Hot2Learn Team worked with Craig Reucassel to tell our story, examine the issues and propose solutions to the federal minister for education.

You can watch all three episodes now on ABC iview here!
